If you haven’t read the first two parts of this story, you can find them here and here.
I was just starting to feel better on Monday morning, when mummy bundled me into my box again and daddy took me back to the vets. It was the really nice vet who cleaned my booboo last week, so I didn’t mind her checking me over to begin with. She was being nice and kind, but then, all of a sudden, she put a slimy stick in my bottom. I wriggled and made it fall out, but she put it back in. I was not impressed, but I didn’t attack her. I’d planned my revenge. She sat down at her computer so I jumped onto her lap. She thought I was just being friendly, but I was really rubbing the slimy off my bum onto her legs. Hehehe.
I haven’t been sick since going back to the vets. I heard her tell daddy she’d given me something to stop the vomiting and not to give me any food until the evening. I tried everything I could to make mummy and daddy ignore the vet, but I was starved until nighttime. It was not a good day.
I didn’t get to play bite-mummy’s-hand-as-she-tries-to-get-medicine-in-my-mouth until Tuesday. That was fun. I got to do it yesterday too. Mummy seems surprised that I haven’t been spitting it out. She obviously doesn’t know that I think it’s quite tasty now I’ve had it a few times. I don’t like the squirty stick it comes in though, or having my jaw held open so it can be put in the back of my mouth. Maybe next time I’ll bite it in half. Hehehe.
I haven’t been allowed out since mummy found the booboo. I’m not a happy cat. I’ve shown my displeasure by kicking litter all over the bathroom, but it hasn’t made them change their mind. Bad mummy and daddy. I’ve done my best to jump up and open the door myself, but I just can’t quite do it. One day I will. I’m a determined little cat.
I’m feeling much better now and I’m back to my usual mischief, climbing up on the kitchen sides to lick the sink, crying for mummy to come sit with me while I have my breakfast, and playfully scratching or biting when I want to get down after having enough cuddling.
Mummy says some good things came out of my trips to the vets. The vet weighed me and said I’ve gotten even chubbier, so she isn’t worried about my health generally (I’ve put on half a kilogram since my last visit). Mummy asked her to do checks of my blood to make sure there are no problems caused by my nice new diet. They said they couldn’t check nutrient levels, but they could make sure all my organs are functioning properly. All the tests came back normal. The vet said she couldn’t see any signs that I have any health problems other than the big booboo, so mummy sounded very happy.
Until the next time humans,
Meow,
Leo xx
Poor little guy :(, so glad he’s back to his old self. Leo is such a good boy my cat Sharma would have put up such a fight for the vet. I really enjoy these posts they are so cute x

Thanks! 🙂 He’s usually pretty good for the vet, although getting him into his box to go there in the first place can prove a struggle! xx
